  • We have put much thought into our management traineeships to make sure that our trainees really do develop and further their skills. The future is waiting for you – it's just a click away.

    Making the time to get to know each other

    During the first months of your traineeship you will be invited to join us at our head office in Lünen (in the German state of North Rhine Westphalia) to take part in one of our introductory weeks. This week includes trips to a number of plants and facilities as well as some initial seminars on waste management legislation and business etiquette – and it is, of course, a great opportunity to meet trainees from our other programmes. What's more, we organise bespoke seminars that have been put together exclusively for the trainees in our group. These are held at various times throughout a traineeship and ensure our trainees develop and enhance their personal skills.

    • A traineeship in operations - REMONDIS' regional companies

      • This 18-month traineeship takes you to a variety of locations within the region/regional company enabling you to get to know the whole of the supply chain. No matter whether it involves one of the company's latest projects or one of the diverse tasks needed for its core business, you will always be given the opportunity to make the very most of your know-how and skills.

        • What to expect

          • A permanent contract of employment and intensive on-the-job training, support from experienced mentors
          • A great insight into the business by working in, in most cases, 6 different places (changing every 3 months), e.g. in one of our branches, waste incineration plants, sales etc
          • An ideal position to build up an extensive network of business contacts within the REMONDIS Group with excellent prospects of taking over a managerial position in the future
        • Your qualifications/skills

          • A university degree in Economics, Engineering / Engineering Management or Logistics
          • plus, ideally, a discipline-related apprenticeship or relevant internships
          • Fluent English (written and spoken); you must be mobile
          • You should be dedicated and goal-driven and be interested in taking on challenging tasks

      A traineeship in controlling/accounts - REMONDIS Assets & Services GmbH & Co. KG

      • This 18-month traineeship offers you an in-depth insight into the specialist areas of controlling and accounts as well as mergers & acquisitions. At the end of your traineeship, you will be able to take over a responsible position in one of the commercial departments at our head office or in one of our regional or specialist companies.

        • What to expect

          • A permanent contract of employment and intensive on-the-job training, support from experienced specialists and managers, informative training courses
          • An ideal position to build up an extensive network of business contacts within the REMONDIS Group
          • Job rotation to provide an insight into the diverse day-to-day business tasks in the head office's commercial departments as well as into the project work carried out at REMONDIS
        • Your qualifications/skills

          • An MSc in Economics / Business Management, majoring in controlling, taxes or finance and accounts
          • Either relevant internships or an additional commercial apprenticeship
          • Proficient in MS Office, fluent English (written and spoken)
          • You must have strong analytical skills, be goal-driven and enjoy working with numbers 

      A traineeship in sales - Provero GmbH

      • This 18-month traineeship will turn you into a genuine sales specialist. As part of a well-organised and competent team, you will benefit from the wealth of expertise and experience of your colleagues working in both the sales office and in the field.

        • What to expect

          • Intensive on-the-job training that combines working on the company's latest projects as well as carrying out diverse everyday business tasks
          • Specialist seminars and workshops that are targeted at developing and enhancing your professional and personal skills
          • Profound know-how and active support from experienced sales professionals
        • Your qualifications/skills

          • A university degree in Engineering Management, Engineering, Economics or Sciences
          • A strong affinity for sales
          • Proficient in MS Office, fluent English (written and spoken)
          • You must be dedicated and enthusiastic and have strong communication skills
          • You must be prepared to travel and be flexible regarding where you work

      An international traineeship in finance & controlling - REMONDIS Service International GmbH

      • This 24-month traineeship has a strong international background and allows you to get to know about all of our different commercial areas. During this time, we will teach you how to manage and grow our foreign businesses. You will do the background work needed to decide whether to purchase a new business or not and accompany the process from start to finish. What's more, you will be able to gain an in-depth insight into our commercial and operational processes by spending 3 months abroad at one of our companies.

        • What to expect

          • Comprehensive on-the-job training by carrying out day-to-day business tasks and taking on your first projects
          • Working independently on tasks involving controlling, annual financial statements and mergers & acquisitions
          • On-the-job training at our head office in Lünen and at a company abroad
          • Support from experienced specialists and managers and help to build up a network of business contacts
        • Your qualifications/skills

          • A university degree in Economics, preferably majoring in finance and accounts or controlling
          • Initial professional experience from having done an apprenticeship or discipline-related internships or having worked as a student employee
          • You must be able to work in a goal-driven, efficient and structured manner
          • Very good English, other foreign languages an advantage

      A traineeship in project development - REMONDIS Aqua GmbH & Co. KG

      • This 18-month traineeship will turn you into a genuine project development specialist for the water sector. As part of a well-organised and competent team, you will benefit from the wealth of expertise and experience of your colleagues working at our head office, at our water facilities and on local projects.

        • What to expect

          • Intensive on-the-job training that combines working on the company's latest projects as well as carrying out diverse everyday business tasks
          • Specialist seminars and workshops that are targeted at developing and enhancing your professional and personal skills
          • Profound know-how and active support from experienced project developers
        • Your qualifications/skills

          • A university degree in Engineering Management, Engineering (relating in some way to water) or Economics with a strong affinity for technology
          • Proficient in MS Office, fluent English (written and spoken)
          • You must be prepared to travel and be flexible regarding where you work

      A traineeship in operational management - TSR Recycling GmbH & Co. KG

      • This 18-month traineeship offers you an in-depth insight into operational material flow management as well as into the ins and outs of purchasing scrap metals. During this period you will get to work in all of our operational divisions - so you'll learn about the whole of our supply chain and all it entails.

        • What to expect

          • Intensive involvement in the day-to-day business combined with your own projects - right from the start
          • Professional and personal support with regular feedback meetings and a continuous exchange of information with upper management
          • Work at different locations across the whole of Germany
        • Your qualifications/skills

          • A university degree in Economics or Engineering Management
          • A strong hands-on mentality and the ability to work on your own initiative
          • You must enjoy taking on responsibility and have strong communication and persuasion skills
